The brothers Şamlı İskender and Şamlı Tevfîk worked together in music publishing and oud luthery for some years between 1906-1912, but began to work independently around 1912 according to the luthier lables found inside their ouds. For this reason we can safely assume that this fasl edition of Şamlı İskender was published sometime after 1912.
